I am now in the process of trying to find a long arm quilter to complete the next stage. This is proving harder than I thought with messages being taken, phone calls not returned. I know Christmas is fast approaching and they may not want to take on extra work before then but a return call to say that would be helpful.
I'm hoping to get back into the sewing room again soon and have some new projects under way.

This quilt is looking awesome - I love that you pieced the back as well as the front.
ReplyDeleteWow!!! I need to find a way to hang my quilts to photograph - instead of laying them on my tiled floor!
ReplyDeleteBoth front and back is lovely! Such a gorgeous quilt! Hope you can find a quilter for it soon!
ReplyDeleteThis turned out beautifully! Good luck with getting it quilted - if I was a longarm quilter...
ReplyDeleteI like the top and back! Great job.
ReplyDeleteYou sound disappointed when you say "All I have to show." Your quilt is spectacular! I love the fabrics.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear you are frustrated with getting it quilted. If we lived close I would quilt it for you. I have my own long arm quilting business. I hope you find someone soon.
So pretty! Love those fabrics and what a great pattern too... good luck with the quilting!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous quilt, I look forward to seeing it finished!!

This quilt is amazing, with its gradient of colors. The back is lovely as well; you should be really proud of what you've been able to do.
ReplyDeleteMy quilter does things by mail and you could contact her to see if she could squeeze another in. Usually she likes her December deadline quilts by 1st November, as I suppose most quilters (which may be why no one's returning calls!). Hope you find someone, but if not, wrap up the pictures, and give it with a promise of Quilt-To-Come! (I've done that. . .) Leave a comment on my blog if you want more info about my quilter.
Thanks for stopping by Freshly Pieced today and posting your WIP link.
